Simulation programme Medical Area - CUSAM simulation course The primary aim of this course is to work on the identification and clinical and therapeutic management of the most common medical pathologies through clinical and instrumental simulation. Cross-training is essential for all first-year residents in a total of 22 medical specialities. The course includes an online theoretical syllabus for the management of the main syndromes presented to clinics in the Medical Area (chest pain, dyspnoea, etc.) and practical simulation workshops to acquire skills through clinical cases. The simulations are taught by final-year residents and specialist physicians. In this 8-hour course, simulation is used as a learning tool to work on technical and non-technical skills.
