Ophthalmology simulation programme for residents

During this 2-month course, residents will be able to practice with a high-fidelity simulation device that reproduces surgical cases.

The system allows for a summative assessment: a training pathway conceived to improve surgical skills based on the current experience level of the residents.

There are cataract surgery, retinal surgery and vitrectomy simulators, as well as those for retinal laser scanning and surgery.
