Nursing Supervisor

I am a nurse and hold a PhD in Biomedical Research Methodology and Public Health. I currently work as Supervisor of the Process Unit within the Quality, Processes and Innovation Department at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. My work focuses on analysing and improving healthcare processes, integrating methodological approaches, scientific evidence and continuous improvement tools to facilitate the implementation of changes that add value to clinical practice and patient health outcomes.

Curriculum

My professional background brings together experience in clinical care, research, healthcare quality and public health, providing me with a broad, cross-cutting perspective of the healthcare system.
I have developed part of my professional and research experience at the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre, the University of Oxford and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). My training also includes a postgraduate qualification in Lean Management – Black Belt and training in Implementation Science at the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management.
I work in multidisciplinary teams, with a collaborative and analytical approach focused on problem-solving. I combine my professional practice with scientific research and university teaching.
