Leading the future of health data spaces VHTeDades consolidates years of pioneering work in health data spaces, leveraging the capacity of Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and the integration of its research institutes, VHIR and VHIO, on a campus with over 10,000 professionals. The project ensures secure and agile access to high-quality data, with on‑premise technology that protects privacy and ensures regulatory compliance. We are the only public hospital recognized as a health data space. We connect healthcare and research in a real way, changing how we work and fostering innovation. The project enables the creation of federated networks with other hospitals to maximize scientific and healthcare impact at the national level. The patient is at the center. Through PROMs and PREMs, we incorporate their voice to improve diagnoses, treatments, and understanding of diseases. In this way, research is directly put at the service of patient care.VHTeDades combines a solid track record, exceptional data volume, robust governance, and advanced technology. It is a secure data space, created to transform health and research with the active participation of patients. 1,708,320 1,708K euros 10 10 profiles 3 3 use cases Case 1: Health outcomes and european health data space This case shows how patient-provided data can be used to offer more personalized and effective care. The goal is to make better decisions, tailor care to each individual’s needs, and share information securely between hospitals and healthcare centers.
