The World's Best Hospitals 2023 és una llista basada en una enquesta global a més de 80.000 professionals del sector sanitari de 28 països.
La revista Newsweek ha publicat un any més el rànquing The World’s Best Hospitals 2023 en què ordena els 250 millors hospitals a nivell mundial. Segons el rànquing, l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron és el 4t millor hospital de l’Estat (guanya una posició respecte el 2022) i el 83è millor del món. Només sis hospitals espanyols es troben en el top 100 mundial que encapçalen el Mayo Clinic-Rochester, el Cleveland Clinic i el Massachusetts General Hospital.
The World's Best Hospitals 2023 és una llista basada en una enquesta global a més de 80.000 professionals del sector sanitari de 28 països i ha comptat amb la col·laboració un cop més de l’agència de dades Statista. S’han analitzat més de 2.300 hospitals d'arreu del món i per primera vegada s’ha tingut en compte l’estat d’implementació dels PROM en cada centre. Els PROM són qüestionaris emplenats per pacients que serveixen als hospitals per mesurar la percepció del seu benestar funcional i qualitat de vida més enllà dels resultats clínics.
