Assisted human reproduction is emerging as one of the areas with the greatest social and economic impact, as well as an area of medicine that is permanently at the forefront of technical developments in biotechnology, pharmacology and genetics.
The Obstetrics and Reproductive Endocrinology Service of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital is the third center in Catalonia in terms of the number of cycles of assisted reproduction per year and has the technology and infrastructure to assist with all types of problems related to human reproduction, paying special attention to the preservation of fertility in women who may lose it due to an oncological problem.
The Advanced Training in Assisted Human Reproduction program is an activity with an observer profile, where the Assisted Reproduction Unit of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital makes the most advanced experience and technology available to specialists interested in assisting, being able to develop in a global way the necessary skills and knowledge in assisted human reproduction both from the point of view of medical assistance and expertise in laboratory management and management.
