Aquesta jornada abordarà els reptes específics del càncer en adolescents i adults joves, un grup de pacients amb necessitats mèdiques, psicològiques i socials diferenciades. Professionals de Vall d’Hebron, de l'AFANOC (Associació de Familiars i Amics de Nens Oncològics de Catalunya) i altres especialistes en l’atenció oncològica a aquest col·lectiu compartiran coneixement sobre epidemiologia, models assistencials i suport psicosocial, així com pacients i famílies ens faran partícips de les seves experiències.
La trobada inclourà taules de debat per reflexionar sobre els principals reptes assistencials i psicosocials d'aquests pacients en aquesta etapa de vida, posant en valor un model d’atenció integral centrat en les necessitats dels joves amb càncer.
