En aquesta novel·la, Jordi Nopca construeix un univers protagonitzat per animals antropomòrfics per explorar temes profundament humans com la paternitat, la fragilitat, la incertesa davant del futur i els canvis socials i polítics del nostre temps. Amb una combinació d'humor, tendresa i reflexió, l'autor aborda com l'arribada d'un fill transforma la vida quotidiana i obliga a replantejar prioritats, pors i esperances.
Jordi Nopca (Barcelona, 1983) és periodista, escriptor i traductor. Actualment coordina el suplement literari Ara Llegim del diari ARA. És autor dels llibres El talent, Puja a casa i La teva ombra, guardonada amb el Premi Proa.
Amb El futur és una petita flama, Nopca ofereix una mirada lúcida i emotiva sobre els vincles familiars, l'esperança i la necessitat de trobar llum enmig de la incertesa.
