Estudi observacional i unicèntric amb l'objectiu d'avaluar la viabilitat d'utilitzar una eina d'intel·ligència artificial desenvolupada per Imagenomix (IGX), una startup del grup de recerca de Patologia Digital i Diagnòstic del NYU Langone Medical Center de Nova York (Estats Units), per identificar el risc de presentar una mutació d'AKT1 aprofitant el material existent al biobanc de tumors del VHIR. D'aquesta manera, es pretén poder detectar mutacions del gen AKT1 per una fracció del cost d'una prova de seqüenciació de nova generació (NGS), que és la tècnica utilitzada actualment per identificar aquestes mutacions, i així ampliar-ne la detecció a pacients d'altres subgrups més enllà de les pacients en estadi avançat, com ara les pacients en estadis inicials (early stage) o en tractament adjuvant de primera línia.
