Una resident de Vall d'Hebron guanya el premi al millor cas clínic presentat.
El Servei de Farmàcia de l'Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron ha destacat en l'edició d'enguany del Congrés Nacional de la Societat Espanyola de Farmàcia Hospitalària amb set ponències orals, vint comunicacions científiques i vuit casos clínics. A més, la resident Andrea Pérez Manrique ha obtingut el premi al millor cas clínic presentat.
La Dra. Maria Queralt Gorgas, directora clínica del Servei de Farmàcia, explica que el cas presentat, centrat en un pacient pediàtric amb una infecció fúngica, va servir per "mostrar la implicació del Servei de Farmàcia dins d'un equip multidisciplinari en l'abordatge d'un cas complex".
El Congrés, que s'ha celebrat del 22 al 24 d'octubre a Gran Canària, és la principal trobada anual de la farmàcia hospitalària, on es presenten i es debaten les darreres novetats tant a nivell científic com organitzatiu, segons destaca la Dra. Gorgas. La important participació del Servei de Farmàcia en aquesta edició, afegeix, "consolida el seu paper i la seva participació científica en congressos nacionals i internacionals".
