I am a specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health and currently work within the Quality, Processes and Innovation Directorate at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital. As the hospital's lead professional for Clinical Expertise Networks (ERNs, CSURs and XUECs) and strategic planning initiatives, my work focuses on providing methodological support for accreditation processes, monitoring the hospital's Strategic Plan and related healthcare plans, conducting health services research, and contributing to management activities through the Accreditation and Strategy Support Unit.

Curriculum

I completed my specialty training in Pediatrics in Argentina in 2014 and worked as a Primary Care Pediatrician until 2020. In 2024, I completed my specialty training in Preventive Medicine and Public Health through the Spanish MIR residency programme at Bellvitge University Hospital, Barcelona. I also hold a Master's Degree in Quality Management and Patient Safety in Healthcare (Avedis Donabedian Foundation, 2019) and a Master's Degree in Public Health from Pompeu Fabra University (2022).

With more than nine years of experience within the Catalan healthcare system, I have developed my professional career across clinical, academic and research settings, contributing to the design, implementation and evaluation of healthcare projects. My expertise includes strategic planning, performance indicator development, research methodology, critical appraisal of scientific evidence, and data analysis to support decision-making. I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating project coordination and promoting initiatives aimed at improving quality of care, patient safety and health outcomes.

I have participated in several research projects and scientific publications in the fields of epidemiology, public health and healthcare evaluation. My research interests include communicable diseases, socioeconomic health inequalities, healthcare resource utilization and patient safety, with publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. I am currently pursuing a PhD focused on healthcare management and health policy.
