SIMUCI is a training program in Intensive Care Medicine that is part of the SIMRADAR project. It includes simulation and aims to acquire knowledge and skills, both technical and non-technical, in a faster and safer way.
The SIMUCI program is designed to promote cross-curricular and competency-based training.
The practical sessions are held at the Advanced Clinical Simulation Centre and include structured workshops to address critical aspects such as airway management, septic shock, respiratory failure, neurocritical patient care, and sedation, analgesia, and delirium management. Each workshop is accompanied by specific objectives and monitoring tools to assess the progress of participants.
Before each session, you will review the theoretical materials available on the online platform. This preparation ensures optimal use of the practical activities, which reproduce real clinical situations in a controlled environment.
With this program, you will acquire essential skills for the comprehensive and safe management of critical patients, improving your ability to respond to complex and critical situations that you will encounter in the day-to-day work of intensive care units.
