Until 11 May, the vestibule of the ICS Corporate Centre will be hosting a selection of the best photographs from the 12 years of the Vall d’Hebron Scientific Photography Competition.
The Vall d’Hebron “The other view of research” exhibition of scientific photography opened today, 15 February, at the Catalan Health Institute (ICS) Corporate Centre. Participating in the ceremony were Dr Albert Salazar, manager of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, and Yolanda Lejardi, managing director of the ICS. The collection of photos will be open to the public until 11 May.
“The other view of research” includes a selection of images from the best photos in the 12 years of the Campus Vall d’Hebron Scientific Photography Competition. The exhibition was first presented in January 2021 at the Palau Robert and was then displayed at the Vall d’Hebron Children’s Hospital and the Women’s Hospital in Igualada, Westfield Glòries in Barcelona and Westfield La Maquinista in Barcelona.
The photos in the exhibition, a selection from over 600 photos presented, create an artistic narrative of what scientists see, experience and research in their daily lives with the naked eye or through a microscope. Thanks to the interaction of science and art, the exhibition provides an innovative perspective to present research to society through the beauty of the images.
Be sure not to miss it if you have not seen it yet! It will be open until 11 May in the Vestibule of the Catalan Health Institute Corporate Centre (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 587) from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
