Xavier Prats, Director General de Salut i Seguretat Alimentària de la Comissió Europea ha visitat les instal·lacions de Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus i després ha pronunciat la conferència L'estat de la salut a Europa en la que ha fet un repàs de com la tecnologia i els canvis demogràfics estan transformant radicalment les nostres societats i quin impacte tindran sobre la medicina i els sistemes de salut en els països europeus.
Com a agraïment per la seva visita ha rebut de mans del Dr. Vicenç Martínez, Gerent de l'Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron, la Dra.
