"Apoyo a la lactancia materna en una maternidad IHAN"
Todo lo que sucede en torno al nacimiento y los primeros días de vida del recién nacido, puede condicionar la lactancia materna y la vinculación entre la madre y su hijo. Es importate el apoyo que se le da a la díada madre-hijo durante este periodo por parte de los profesionales, y adoptar prácticas hospitalarias que protejan, promuevan y apoyen la lactancia materna desde el nacimiento y favorezcan el vínculo.
CV: El Dr. Adolfo Gómez Papí es neonatólogo de la Unidad Neonatal del Hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona, hospital IHAN (Iniciativa para la humanización de la asistencia al nacimiento y la lactancia) desde 1997. Su actividad clínica se centra en la planta de puerperio, y además atiende la consulta de Lactancia materna del hospital. Es profesor asociado del área e Pediatría en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Rovira i Virgili. Es miembro de la sección de formación de la IHAN, y de la sección de Hospitales. Su actividad investigadora se centra en el contacto piel con piel y la lactancia, siendo autor de múltiples artículos y capítulos de libros sobre estos temas.
