"La nostra experiència amb la COVID-19 a pediatria"
L'afectació de la COVID-19 a pediatria ha estat molt menor que en el pacient adult tant en incidència com en gravetat. Tot i això, la infecció per SARS-CoV-2 en aquest grup de població ha presentat unes peculiaritats com poden ser la síndrome inflamatòria multisistèmica similar a la malaltia de Kawasaki i la síndrome de xoc tòxic o una menor transmissibilitat de la infecció.Per aquest motiu, l'atenció a aquests pacients i la recerca associada ha suposat un repte que s'ha assumit per part d'un grup multidisciplinar específic al nostre centre.
