L’objectiu principal del curs és millorar la formació de professionals de la salut en el camp de la cooperació sanitària, el maneig de les patologies infeccioses importades i conèixer les tècniques de laboratori més utilitzades en salut internacional. Els alumnes que realitzin tot el curs tindran coneixements sobre: -Geoepidemiologia de les àrees tropicals i subtropicals, -L’elaboració de projectes de cooperació, -Patologies infeccioses importades al nostre entorn, -Salut comunitària i estratègies d’actuació, -Funcionament, gestió i tècniques diagnòstiques d’un laboratori de salut internacional. -Maneig dels problemes de salut internacional en la població infantil
