PR(AG)519/2025 “Exploring the epigenetic and environmental basis of externalizing and internalizing problems (EPI-ENVI)”

Sinopsis:

Ús de dades retrospectives per a recerca clínica. Estudi que té com a objectiu avaluar l’associació entre els patrons de metilació de l’ADN i els problemes d’externalització i internalització de 300 escolars. Amb aquest objectiu s’utilitzaran enfocaments agnòstics (estudi d’epigenoma complet) i dirigits. A més, s’examinaran si els factors de risc ambientals estan relacionats amb alteracions dels patrons de metilació identificats i si la metilació de l’ADN actua com a mediador entre els factors ambientals i els problemes d’externalització i internalització així com potencials diferències entre nens i nenes.

Les dades que es tractaran per al projecte de recerca són pseudonimitzades no permetent la identificació directa del titular.

Origen de les dades:

Projecte d’investigació “Impact of Neurodevelop mental Disorders on School Performance: genes and environment (INSchool) (Ref: 2228-30/202228-31). IPs: Dra. Marta Ribasés i Dra. Mireia Pagerols. Aprovat pel CEIm (PR(AG)491-2022)). Es tractaran mostres de saliva i àcid nucleic que es troben al Registre ISCII en la col·lecció privada de la Unitat Genètica Psiquiàtrica del VHIR C.0004942.
