Sóc director de la Unitat de Cirugia Superior d'Extremitat i Microcirurgia Pediàtrica de l'Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron, especialista en reconeixement internacional en la mà, l'extremitat superior pediàtrica i la microcirurgia. Traumatòleg i cirurgià ortopèdic, expert en el plexe braqual i malformacions, així com altres patologies de les extremitats superiors, com ara malformacions, paràlisi cerebral, seqüeles de fractures, artrogriposi, entre d'altres.

Curriculum

Vaig completar la meva formació especialitzada en l'extremitat superior i la microcirurgia pediàtrica a Filadèlfia, EUA, però també he fet nombroses visites a Boston, Taiwan, Finlàndia, Egipte, etc. Al llarg de la meva trajectòria professional he compaginat el treball assistencial amb la docència a la unitat d'anatomia humana de l'aparell locomotor de la Facultat de Medicina de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. 
 
Entre els meus èxits hi ha la publicació de més de 90 articles internacionals indexats relacionats amb la pràctica clínica, la recerca i l'activitat docent, així com l'obtenció de múltiples beques FIS. Destaca la Serendipia, havent descrit múltiples noves tècniques quirúrgiques de la seva pròpia internacionalment; ressaltar els trasplantaments de periosti vascular.
 
Sóc professor convidat habitual a les conferències europees i americanes relacionades amb la seva àrea d'especialització. També he dut a terme diverses missions humanitàries quirúrgiques a Guatemala, Benín, Marroc i Vietnam. 
 
Actualment sóc director de la Unitat de Cirugia Superior d'Extremitat i Microcirurgia Pediàtrica de l'Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron.
