I hold a degree in Geography and History from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a Master’s degree in eHealth from La Salle. For 14 years, I worked as Foreign Rights Director at a medical publishing house, primarily managing educational projects across different medical specialties. I joined the Teaching team at Cemcat in 2014, building on this professional background and driven by the ambition to become part of a centre recognised as a global reference.

Curriculum

My professional career began in 1991 at Ancora SA publishing house, where I worked as an assistant to the Foreign Rights Director. In 1992, I joined the UNIC (Clinical Neuroimmunology Unit) at Vall d’Hebron as secretary to Dr Xavier Montalban. My academic year in Portland (USA) at the age of 16–17 provided me with a proficient level of English, essential for the roles I have held both in publishing and later at UNIC. In 1994, I moved to St Petersburg (Russia), where I completed my university studies. After working for an international Dutch real estate company, I returned to medical publishing in 2001 as Foreign Rights Director at J&C Ediciones Médicas. In the summer of 2014, I rejoined Dr Xavier Montalban’s team, working in the Teaching Department and in the management of Cemcat’s annual report, where I have been coordinator since 2016. Currently, we manage around 25 educational activities per year, both in-person and online, with national and international audiences. More than 300 professionals attend our programmes each year, and we are building a global alumni network of over 3,000 members.
