Curriculum

I completed my undergraduate studies in Social Work at the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 2014. I then obtained a Master's degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Birmingham (England) in 2016 and in Sociology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2018. I was awarded a doctorate degree with cum laude in Sociology, with a specialisation in labour sociology and social gerontology, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2021. In 2020-2021 I completed a research fellowship at the University of Cambridge (England), focusing on new trends in the labour market and their effect on people's psychosocial wellbeing from a gender perspective (precarious employment, unemployment, job insecurity, work intensification, zero-hour contracts, part-time work).
My main areas of research have focused on labour participation from a gender perspective, and intergenerational relations and their impact on the wellbeing of older adults. I have published several scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
Currently, apart from my responsibilities in the Professional Development unit at VHIR, I continue to collaborate with different psychosocial research groups at international level.
