Soc metge radiòleg expert en l’àmbit de l’ecografia intervencionista, especialment en l’àrea d’oncologia. Des de l’any 2003 desenvolupo la meva activitat assistencial i docent a la Vall d’Hebron.
Al 1993 vaig iniciar la meva activitat com a radiòleg, i al 2003 em vaig incorporar a l’Hospital Vall d’Hebron. Des de llavors, la meva activitat professional s’ha centrat en els procediments intervencionistes guitats per ultrasons, duent a terme entre d’altres, mostres de teixit i biòpsies en pacients de l’àrea d’oncologia, tractaments percutanis amb radiofreqüència de tumors hepàtics i renals, així com també més recentment, nòduls tiroïdals benignes. Des de l’any 1993, he desenvolupat també activitats docents en l’àmbit de la radiologia i l’intervencionisme guiat per ultrasons. Finalment, he participat i liderat projectes de recerca en docència i innovació tecnològica, destinats a la formació en fer puncions guiades per ecografia amb un simulador virtual, així com també en el disseny i assaigs clínics de nous aparells biomèdics, com és el cas d’un mecanisme de biòpsia i punció per aspiració. La meva formació acadèmica es va completar al 1995 amb l’obtenció del Doctorat en Medicina i Cirurgia, sobre la utilitat de l’ecografia en l’estudi del mediastí, després d’haver assolit la carrera de medicina i l’especialitat en radiodiagnòstic al 1993.
