Synopsis:

This study aims to use machine learning techniques to analyse retrospective data from patients with and without atopic dermatitis (AD) at our hospital. By identifying clinical and laboratory patterns, the study seeks to predict the risk of severe AD, the likelihood of requiring systemic treatments and the presence of atopic comorbidities. This innovative approach aims to improve patient stratification according to disease severity and associated comorbidities, overcoming the limitations of current medical practice and enabling earlier interventions and personalised treatments, thereby improving outcomes for patients with AD.
