Neurologia fetal

The Fetal Medicine Unit (UMF) treats the pathology of the fetus itself through advanced obstetric ultrasound, neurosonography and echocardiography. The Pediatric Neurology Unit participates in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of patients with pathology detected at the fetal level, prenatally advising in the prenatal diagnostic process and postnatally in the continuation of the diagnostic process.
The Short-stay advanced training in Pediatric and Fetal Neurology organized by the Obstetrics Service of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, is an activity with an observer profile that offers specialists to deepen their knowledge of fetal Neurosonography, acquire knowledge and skills in advising on neurological pathology in the prenatal stage, as well as learn the basics of postnatal monitoring and treatment of pathologies.
