ENDOVASCULARSIM: Endovascular training

ENDOVASCULARSIM is a program in Angiology and Vascular Surgery that, through simulation, prepares residents to acquire technical and non-technical skills quickly and safely.

The ENDOVASCULARSIM program offers specialized and progressive training in endovascular techniques for residents of Angiology and Vascular Surgery. It combines theory and simulation to ensure practical, safe learning adapted to each stage of the residency.

The program is structured in modules that correspond to the years of residency (R1 to R5) and cover techniques such as:

  • Interventions in iliac and femoral territories (basic, intermediate and advanced).
  • Repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms (from beginner to advanced).
  • Interventions in carotid territory and peripheral embolization.

Each module includes:

  • Online theory: Asynchronous sessions to review before practice.
  • Supervised practices: In the Advanced Clinical Simulation Centre, with high-fidelity simulators adjusted to the objectives of each year of training.
  • Free practices: Autonomous time to achieve the learning curve with a minimum of 20 hours throughout the module.

The training culminates in an assessment that integrates theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that residents develop technical competencies applicable in real clinical situations.

ENDOVASCULARSIM is a unique opportunity to hone your endovascular skills in a controlled environment, ensuring agile and safe handling in the treatment of complex pathologies.

Train yourself in endovascular techniques with ENDOVASCULARSIM: theory, simulation and practice to master complex interventions safely and efficiently.
