SIMANESTESIA is a clinical simulation training program for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation residents. It offers theoretical and practical knowledge in the management and care of patients throughout the perioperative period and improves preparation for critical situations.
The SIMANESTESIA program is a comprehensive training in clinical simulation designed for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation residents, covering the entire residency, from R1 to R4. This progressive program adapts the content to each training year, ensuring gradual learning that is appropriate to the level of competence of each resident.
The training combines theory and practical simulation, which allows residents to develop technical and non-technical skills essential for their daily practice. Through practical workshops and simulated scenarios, participants work on aspects such as airway management, mechanical ventilation, anaesthetic pharmacology and the management of surgical and critical care environments.
The use of high-fidelity simulators allows complex clinical situations to be recreated in a safe and controlled environment, fostering confidence and decision-making in different clinical situations. In addition, the program includes personalized feedback from teachers, helping residents to perfect their skills throughout their training.
