Five professionals from Vall d’Hebron, among the top 100 in the State according to Forbes magazine

Forbes magazine has published the list "The best doctors", which recognizes the 100 most relevant medical professionals, divided into 24 specialties.


Forbes has published for the fourth consecutive year its list of the best doctors in the State, where it recognizes the best professionals in the field of care, research and teaching, divided into 24 specialties who are part of more than 60 centers hospitals, both public and private. Within this ranking are five doctors from Vall d’Hebron University Hospital.

Dr. Josep Tabernero, head of the Medical Oncology Service at Vall d’Hebron and director of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), in the specialty of oncology.

Dr. Rafael Esteban, senior consultant at the Hepatology Service at Vall d’Hebron and researcher at the Liver Disease research group at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), in internal medicine.

Dr. Francesc Bosch, head of the Hematology Service and Principal Investigator of the Experimental Hematology Group of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), within the specialty of hematology.

Dr. Javier Cortés, clinical researcher at the Breast Cancer Research Program at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), in the specialty of gynecology.

Dr. Héctor Boix, from the Neonatology Service of Vall d'Hebron and Principal Investigator in the research group CIBBIM-Nanomedicine. Bioengineering, Cell Therapy and Surgery in Congenital Malformations at the VHIR, within the specialty of pediatrics.
