El efecto de la COVID-19 en enfermos con patologías respiratorias crónicas como la EPOC y el ASMA es un tema que se encuentra en un intenso debate y que merece ser analizado y discutido con detalle. En este seminario se pretende hacer una revisión crítica sobre el riesgo que presentan estas patologías en el curso de la enfermedad por COVID-19, así como los posibles factores que juegan un papel clave como son los tratamientos crónicos de estas enfermedades.
