I am a project manager in clinical research in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, a widely extended pathology associated with diabetes and obesity. Curiosity drove me to participate in multiple studies and research projects led by academics in different specialities.

Curriculum

In 2020 I joined the liver diseases group to manage the group’s participation in the EU-PEARL project, which aims to revolutionize the way that clinical trials are conducted by putting the patient at the centre of the design and decision making. Since then, I have collaborated in multiple projects at the European level dedicated to the early identification of patients at risk of developing cirrhosis or understanding the natural history of the disease.
I am a biologist by training with a master in translational research in biomedicine (2014) and a master in clinical trial monitoring (2021). Between 2014 and 2019, I developed my doctoral studies at the Barcelona Institute for biomedical research evaluating novel personalized therapies to exploit the intrinsic weaknesses of RAS mutant tumours.
In 2017 together with 2 colleagues, I cofounded Noies al Lab, a non-profit organization devoted to sparking scientific interest in children by organizing scientific workshops with a gender perspective. Noies al lab has received several prizes.
