Deputy director

I am the Deputy Director of Information and Communication Technologies at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. Together with the entire ICT team, my mission is to make technology a key tool to transform how we work and care for people. From managing complex systems to driving digital innovation, we strive to make the hospital more efficient, connected, and ready for the future challenges of healthcare, where digital health will be a key element.

Curriculum

I hold a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC, an MBA from ESADE, and an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from IESE. I also had the opportunity to study in France through the Erasmus program and conduct research at the IRISA Institute in Rennes.
I began my career as a systems engineer at Arbora, a company specializing in infant and feminine hygiene products. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead ICT teams and technology projects at companies such as Arbora & Ausonia, Procter & Gamble, IESE Business School, and Ekon Cloud Computing, before taking on the challenge in 2021 of improving public healthcare in Catalonia at Vall Hebron Hospital. In all these roles, I’ve worked to make technology a driver of change, always with a strategic and human-centered approach.
